Would Povetkin be able to get on the inside with Wladimir though?

''a guy who has already won + 10 gold medals + golden olympic winner can't be "overrated".''

Have you ever heard of a certain Audley Harrison?

Everyone who fights Waldo gets inside. Except guys like McCline who fight just as tentative and anxious. What they do once inside is what will seperate them from Povetkin.

They ****ed up with Harrison. Too much money too soon. His drive to be world champion was basically bought out. And when he actually started to care it was too late.

Povetkin will be kept outside with Wlads jab, and you cant tell me Povetkin will win the boxing match. The only way I see Povetkin winning is him trying to make it brawl like Peter did and hope he lands big, Wlads chin will always be weak and thats really the only chance Povetkin has.

Wlads new style allows him to conserve energy well into the fight, his jab will take him into the middle rounds. Im guessing the 6 round Wlad will start to open up on Povetkin and continue this until the 8th where it will be either stopped or Povetkin will be knocked out IMO.

Thats one of his few weaknesses, get over it. I know not 1 guy thats been knocked down 12 times and TKOd 3 times that didnt have a weak chin, do you?

a lot? I know you're not talking about Wlad. Try ONCE. The 1st Brewster fight was a fix and we all know it.

Oh wait...things like that could NEVER happen in professional boxing!:patsch

I can't believe you're counting Sam Peter's WWF Wresting moves and illegal assed rabbit punches towards legit knockdowns, are you?

Hell, even during the fight, the commentators, including George Foreman said that they should not have been counted as knockdowns. Or do you know more about boxing than Foreman?

He gets tired in fights, against purrity, Brewster, and he did show signs of fatigue in the Mercer fight as well.

If you remove Povetkins name from that comment and replace it with Lamon Brewsters, you'd exactly what people said before he and Wlad clashed again. And we know the result.

Well of course in that respect, you are correct. A man the size of Wlad is bound to get tired just from boxing, regardless of the pace. I dont see how Valuev keeps it up for as long as he does.

    Dude just stop really.

Are you comparing Lamon "One-eye" Brewster, who had a lengthy layoff, PLUS a complete change of trainer/outlook to Povetkin? **** dude, that is just insane.

Someone get this Klitco comment, I do believe it would constitute a Klitco "Quote of the week"
