    :hey

Most agree Malik Scott took a dive...

Scott had just been knocked out by Chisora...

was rewarded with a WBC Eliminator vs Wilder!!

Mike Perez and CarlosTakam both throw lots of
    punches... either would murder Wilder...

the ONLY dangerous fighter Wilder has faced as
a pro is Stiverne and Stiverne followed Wilder around
and threw nothing like he wasn't aloud to accidently
Knock the Bronze Golden Boy Production Out!!!

    :yep

Chagaev wasn't a title defense ... so you have to include Stiverne on Wilder's side if you're going to include Ruslan.

I disagree that the versions of Rahman or Wawrzyk or Boz that Povetkin fought would defeat Molina or Duhaupas.

And I'd rate the Stiverne who twice beat Arrela as a favorite to beat the Ruslan who was coming off two wins over stiffs after losing to Wlad.

"Most agree" doesn't mean it's true --- it's basically a way to discount a quality opponent on Wilder's record.

If you believe that, hey, that's your right, but Scott beat Leapai and Topou and deserved the decision over Glazkov.

I think Dellboy would have beaten him anyway, maybe stopped him, but it was a controversial Brit stoppage ... much argued at the time. He beat the count and was ready to continue, ref didn't even look him in the eyes and waved it off.

Wilder knocked him out. The win is on his record whatever you think of whether Scott dove or not ... I believe it was like Bruce Seldon against Tyson in that he froze in fear and believes he got hit a lot harder than he did -- Wilder had starched him sparring with big gloves and headgear and Scott was terrified to be in the ring with him.

Povetkin entered a wastland period of his career. It is very regrettable, but it is done. Overall, he has faced very good competition such as Byrd, Chambers, Rahmen, Chagaev, Takam and Perez.

Wilder's career has been nothing but a wastland.

So far only International Butt has even attempted to make a case that Povetkin's title reign is even marginally better than Wilder's so far.

Sasha's Athletic Supporters realize that the guy they are rallying around at the very least did exactly what Wilder is doing ... taking a couple of easy defenses before the mandatory. And at least when Wilder does face his mandatory, it will be a real contender, which Povetkin's was, as noted, a corpse.

Povetkin seemed to grow a backbone after getting mauled by Klitschko, stepped up his competition. TS is right, his paper title reign was in fact weak.

Yes, Pianeta defeated him when they were both on the way up.

But Duhaupas earned a ranking by beating Charr in Russia when Charr was ranked, putting himself in the top 15 for a title shot.

All Pianoman did was beat a couple of ancient mariners (Botha and McCall) to get gifted a shot at Wlad ... and after that he beat three absolute cans to get a shot at Ruslan.

So Johann was a more deserving challenger.

And Chagaev made ZERO defenses against ANYONE in his first year and will reach the 2-year mark before making a mandatory defense.

Someone tell me with a straight face that if Wilder's first two defenses were Pianeto and hasn't-fought-in-a-year and has-won-one-fight-since-2013 Fres Oquendo that you'd be OK with that ...

Yet no one ever criticizes Chag or Povetkin for their easy-peasy defenses.

When a "Polish Sausage" can Knock You Out with
your headgear on in the amateurs...

You need to protect your Glass Mandible!!

Turn pro... Feed on light powder puff hitters...

Get Golden Boy Productions to Baby you...

    Hopkins vs Dela Hoya anyone???

That fight was phony beyond belief...

Never trusted anything those two promoted!!

Scott dive... WBC title eliminator using Wilders
best friend who'd just been owned by Chisora...
Stiverne looking like he'd been bought...

As for Povetkin fighting Huck, I believe most people would prefer any of the cruiser champs (Lebedev, YPH, Drozd) or top prospects like Usyk or Kudyrashov fight Wilder instead of a complete joke like Eric Molina. He's one of the, if not the, worst major belt challenger I have ever seen.

I guess we could liken current Shannon Briggs to Hasim Rahman at the time Povetkin fought him, I don't know about others but I'd definitely prefer Briggs over Duhaupas too.

and Molina and Firtha staggered Wilder bad...

So even Cherry Picking Powder Puffs has almost
    backfired on Beyonce Wilders protectors...

Wilder looks like he's "juicing" more than
    most heavyweights you see...

Look at all those heavyweights on the card...

All were Chubby... Love handles... Beer bellies...

Duhaupuss looked like your average Joe walking
down the street then you got the ripped and cut
    China Chinned Beyonce Wilder...
