Maybe I'm just a simpleton but I see a guy (Povetkin) who went down from a jab of Wlad's. And I see a guy (AJ) who survived Wlad throwing the kitchen sink at him, got back up and still knocked him out. I find it hard to favor Povetkin in this fight.
Wlad was 41 years old, shot, coming off of a year and a half layoff and almost stopped this roided up himbo body builder. Povetkin is more than capable of the same feat, but unlike Wlad, won't hesitate in going for the kill if he gets him hurt.
Wlad is still Joshua's hardest fight to date. The bodybuilder would have to be pretty careless, to get stopped by Povetkin. I expect a late mercy stoppage, for the Russian. With a balded headed referee jumping into stop the fight, lol.
Wlad was shot, years, decades past his prime The shot ghost of a Chinless wonder who I'm amazed was even licensed. And he had joshua literally one SECOND away from being brutally ktfo and only didn't do it because he got his tactics wrong Povetkin will DESTROY this Chinless stiff, drug dealing bodybuilder matchroom hype oluwafemi juiceshua
Povetkin is a perimeter fighter. What it boils down to is his effectiveness is all located in a small area around his feet. Opponents that stay in that area are in for a long night. He's a handful when opponents are in his range for combos. Guys inside or outside that perimeter are big problems for him. The biggest being he does not apply much pressure by using his legs to get the opponent at that perimeter to let his hands go. Joshua fights outside of that perimeter. Pretty far outside it actually. Povetkin is not a big pressure guy, so how does he get Joshua into that area so he can have an effective offense?
