Tyson did not exactly have an iron chin. LOL

I think Povetkin beats Wilder all over the ring.

    Huh?

Not near the hand speed, aggressiveness or punching power.

Povetkin will not go more than 2 rounds with a 1988 Tyson.

Agree, Charr and Wilder probably wouldn't either.

For the most part an overwhelming majority of posters on this forum equate race with who they feel compelled to root for....it's pretty pathetic tbh but then again it's only quite natural. I grew up in a melting pot where good guys and bad guys came in all different shapes and colors so I look at boxing through objective sun glasses.

BS. Anyone who actually punched back against Tyson either won outright or nearly did. Tyson fought mostly nobodies in his wins, then when he fought the Holyfields/Lewis's and even Douglasses, he got his ass handed to him:deal

Povetkin has better uppercut than Tyson. That was his money shot against Charr.

Okay, he isn't built like Tyson, too. He has strong legs but his arms aren't muscular and he carries too much fat in his midsection, even now.

Whereas Tyson had big arms even at 18, he was more athletic as teenager than Povetkin ever will be.

But overall Povetkin is still good boxer, despite his flaws. Decent power, good skills, fast hands.
