"After taking a week long test drive in Russia with heavyweight contender Alexander Povetkin, noted trainer and ESPN2 analyst Teddy Atlas returned to the States with a new gig. He has decided to work with the IBF mandatory challenger, who is scheduled to face Wladimir Klitschko sometime during the autumn months."

Two Olympic Gold Medalist meeting Each Other. IMO Povetking is gonna collapse.

Then we can read on ESB Thread after Thread about nut huggers praising Sasha and Criticizers/haters talking him down, Cant Wait:D:yep

I've got a secret, Wlad is gonna Jab him, jab alot. I hope Povetking has made new strategy than walk straoght forward at Wlad eating all jabs, straight hands Wlad throws like Povetking has done lately.

    Wladimir the Jabbalot.

Reasons why i'm very interested in this one...

1 - Povetkin has the best workrate in the hw division.
2 - In other words , he's very active. (he'll force wlad to defend & attack)
    3 - He's got great combos
    4 - He's undefeated
5 - He already defeated Chambers...

And since Chambers recently defeated Dimitrenko , it only seems natural to select him as wlad's next challenger.

The guy has an amazing amateur record , is already an olympic hw gold champion....

A lot of people have been criticising this guy over & over again...claiming that he has no stamina (he often looks very tired after just a few rounds but it's irrelevant because he keeps on landing combos and being very active...again , he's got a solid workrate).

People say he has no KO power. Which is true. He's not a ko artist , far from it , but he compensates this problem by accumulating punches...

I don't think it's gonna be one sided at all...It's gonna be one of klitschko's most difficult challenge. You guys got it all wrong...Wlad's biggest threat isn't Haye... It's Povetkin. (and Boytsov but he's too green at the moment)

Povetkin is ultra endurant and constantly pressures his opponents.

Haye doesn't and the guy's chin is more than questionable. His only advantages are his speed & ko power.

Maybe Klitschko will butcher Povetkin's ass...who knows.

But maybe not...Anything is possible , especially against a guy who'll keep coming at you with a consistant workrate for 12 full rounds.

Maybe i'm full of **** but from what i've seen , he's more than capable and he's a legit , dangerous opponent.

Having said all that , i'm still predicting wlad to win. But i think Povetkin will grab a few rounds too.

But if Povetkin wins this one , it's probably not gonna be by TKO , but SD or UD

Povetkin walks straight forward and offers little to no head movement. He doesn't know how to use angles at all. He can walk forward and pressure all night long, but if he has a jab and right hand pummeling his face in, then he 's not winning. To beat Wlad he would have to develop great head movement and avoid clinching, he would also have to use a relentless workrate.

If you think Atlas hates Wlad now wait until he KO's Povetkin (who I think is a good fighter just a bad style match up against Klitschko)
