Povetkin spars with 4 top-prospects while preparing for Joshua

Povetkin is coming to win. Last chance saloon for a guy that has so far been impossible to stop. People are too quick too write him off. This has the potential to be a great fight because Povetkin is still very dangerous.

Holy **** he looks small compared to those guys and in that pic looks like someone who could easily make 175. I have a hard time believing Joshua does anything but come out the gates throwing nothing but heat and ending this in thw first two rounds.

 

If they're trying to sell tickets to Joshua-Povetkin, they need to hide photos like that.

*Povetkin looks like a dwarf.
*Povetkin's face is all battered.
*Povetkin's sparring partners look fresh.

When promoting a fight, you kind of want to publish photos that show the OPPOSITE of all those things. Right?

Alright, those are some pretty good young sparring partners tbf.

 

Nobody is looking at that photo, all those people who fill up the stadiums and buy the PPV's wouldnt be taking notice of things like that and those that do just happen to come across it wont be zooming in and looking to see how his face looks to try work out how well of badly he may be doing in sparring. Im the only Boxing fan at work but they will all be buying the Joshua PPV and im just starting to get the questions about the Joshua fight, they havnt got a clue who Povetkin is and to be honest they are not that bothered about me telling them anything about him, all they wana know is is he any good or not and do i think Joshua will beat him.

Povetkin has a hell of a chin,proven solid.

 

Bit daft to assume Povetkin has been getting bashed up in sparring because he is all red faced. Considering they are all there they may have been throwing them three rounds a piece and Povetkin has been doing the twelve switching up partners.

This happens all the time, it's great sparring for the prospects getting a few rounds at a go with a world level boxer and Povetkin gets a long hard workout to prep him for what's possibly the biggest fight of his career. Everyone wins.

I'm more impressed seeing guys look like they've had a work out rather than be fresh faced, at least you know they are putting the work in.
