Yup, just like Dubois put down Joshua in sparring... just like David Price KO'd Joshua in sparring. so what? this only makes him stronger.

 

Except when Foreman fought Frazier the first time he was 24 years old and had 37 pro fights under his belt. Dubois has Just turned 20 years old and is just 8 fights into his pro career

If your going to make a big statement at least make it relative

 

Since Povetkin never truly lost , a dominant or stoppage win would make Joshua the best HWs since Lewis.

And since no other past heavyweight with as many disadvantages that Povetkin faces against Joshua in height, weight, reach, size, age and location of battle defeated an elite top heavyweight or any heavyweight opponent at the caliber of Joshua. It means if Povetkin beats Joshua, he'd be doing something never done before in the heavyweight division and would therefore surpass every past heavyweight in history. Especially heavyweights around his own height / size range.

 

Having Dubois is a definite plus to get used to a Joshua like fighter and Sirenko is also a great pressure preparation for Joshua,it will probably get him a few more rounds but ultimately I see Joshua getting a stoppage bf rnd 10.

Lamon Brewster wasn't 39 years old and past his prime like Povetkin will be against Joshua. Brewster was 31 and was in his physical prime. A false equivalence fallacy!

Find me just one heavyweight, who had as much of a age disadvantage, physical disadvantage, venue disadvantage and etc. That beat an opponent at the caliber of Anthony Joshua or even just the top heavyweight.
