Anything that speeds metabolism bwo increased urination is banned as a masking agent.

Athletes can suck down gallons of water prior to a test and **** out most of the dirty urine leaving only diluted urine in the bladder to be tested.

    Thats why

and when it comes to drug testing im neutral i just want to see everyone treated the same

eg the meldonium thing was a non issue, he was under the allowed limit and broke no rules at all, it was a non issue, yet it took the wbc 6 months to sort out that mess

in contrast stiverne gets caught taken a banned substance which he's excuse is at best stupid ,at worst a lie to cover up ped use and they give him a pass and the issue is sorted out in 2 days. That in itself shows that some fighters are treated better than others

also the red flag here is how late in the day vada informed them of the failed test, a few hours before the fight, this is insane and they knew well before this, looks very strange

yup, but aparently im making stuff up, i wish people could stick to the facts when it comes to drugs in sport

witch hunts and roaring peds when it suits you and then defending other fighters gets us no where

and what athlete uses an anabolic steroid days before a fight but tests clean the whole year running up to the fight? you know testing clean during the time period where he would actually get benefit from taken it?

and povetkin in the last year has more than likely received more drug tests and stronger drug testing than any boxer so its not like he would have got away with it all yeat

These issues were brought up by ryabinsky. Povetkin's promoter. The WBC handling of this has been very strange. It's like they were clueless about how to handle the meldonium issue and got steamrolled by Wilder's team into no fight and then this situation. Which again if Povetkin is proven guilty he needs to be punished. Not absolving him but Stiverne fails a test gives the usual BS excuse all athletes give, tainted drink, didn't know what was in it- takes them two days and he is cleared. Povetkin takes test no investigation or wait to see what excuse Povetkin gives just call the fight off 10 hours before the fight.
Personally I don't think Povetkin should ever have had to fight Stiverne for the right to face Wilder. The meldonium issue was mishandled and he got punished anyway by having to face another credible opponent.
    Very weird situation.

He shouldn't have failed the test. He's got nobody to blame but himself.

I agree with this. But the WBC has acted very weird in this situation.
If his B is positive he needs a ban I don't know if it's 6 months or a year. And Stiverne was fined 75k so Povetkin needs to be fined as well.

all very true , povetkin got punished for doing nothing wrong in the first case

imo the wbc have been acting very very weird and they should be careful because a lawsuit could finiish them and i don't see povetkins team being as nice as rocchigiani and saving them from bakrupcy given how he has been treated

It's like here is Povetkin who has fought Charr, Takam, Perez, and then Wach when Wilder was granted another voluntary. He has more than earned the right to be the mandatory. I'll argue he has faced the best competition of any heavyweight in the last two years.
So you're the mandatory. Right before you are ready to fight Wilder in a purse bid you won, comes this meldonium positive. It's trace amounts which turns out to be within the legal the limits. Fight gets called off and rather than just rescheduled it's hey Povetkin you have to fight Stiverne now too, to re-attain your mandatory.

I mean what has Stiverne done since his 12 round loss. 1 fight a sloppy win against a journeyman.
And Wilder goes around fighting Molina, Duhaupas, and the corpse of Arreola.

    It's beyond strange.

makes no sense, its almost like the wbc want to de value their belt, id class the wbc heavyweight belt as the same as the wbf at this point

All the belts are crooked. This heavyweight situation with the WBC is putting a light on how much of a joke it has become.

true, the mandatory position is supposed to stop fighters milking belts facing nobodies, that was the only hope we had of wilder facing someone good

but the wbc rankings are so terrible that wilder could hold the belt indefinetly and never have to face anyone decent, he could break joe louis record if the wbc keep helping him

He has failed two drug tests this year. This is the second.

I take it you don't understand that the people who take PEDs also try to MASK that they take PEDs. So what showed up in his positive test wasn't necesssarily taken "days before a fight."

Because he passed tests before doesn't mean that he was clean each time -- just better masking/flushing could be the case.

    Also read up on microdosing.

I mean, you have athletes test positive at the Olympics and World Championships in various sports in droves -- does that mean all of these tests are wrong since they didn't fail tests previously?

he didn't fail the first drug test, look at wada and vada rules, he didn't fail that test even by their own protocol, don't spread a false narrative.

why would povetkin be micro dosing ostarine days before a fight, a time when he would have received zero benefit from it? we need to wait until all the facts come out instead of roaring peds like a lot of people did last time and they were made look foolish, although this looks more damning then the first issue on face value, which was never an issue.

it doesn't make sense that they notified them so late, it doesn't make sense that the wbc gave stiverne a pass for doping and didn't for pokvetkin.

what ever you think of the whole situation, its undeniable the wbc have acted terribly and their bias has been exposed

He didn't "fail" the meldonium test, it showed up but was within LEGAL limits. Hence he wasn't dropped or suspended. I know these "gray" areas can be complicated for blind fan boys such as yourself.
You have a very clear agenda all your posts support and advocate for Wilder.
I have been very clear, if after an investigation Povetkin has found to have taken a banned substance he should be suspended, and or fined. Right now that looks like the case to me he tested hot.
I'm making the point that the WBC didn't handle this properly the first time with the meldonium test.
The WBC has acted strange to say the least and in every instance it benefits Wilder.
