Are you sure? As per WBC, Ostarine has been on the list of banned substances since 2008.

According to documents online, the drug may be used by athletes to assist in training and increase physical stamina and fitness, potentially producing effects similar to anabolic steroids. For this reason, it was banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency in January 2008.

    Povetkin is a drug cheat.

If they cancel the fight , both fighters should retire. They haven't fought for ages and they are aging . Dumb cases like this are sh*ting the division.

It's banned it's not illegal. It's supplements you just are not supposed to take them if you are professional.

At least Povetkin and Brown can soon fight for the prestigious WBA Ostarine Users Belt. One of the many great WBA belts that any number of people can fight for.

But with the drug testing implemented for this specific fight it is a banned substance, and because of this failed test the WBC has withdrawn their sanction and will be conducting an investigation. But with that said, the fight might still go on as planned, it's just Povetkin will most likely be dropped from the rankings completely. But it's legal to buy you say? I'd like to get me some of that. :deal:

I know what youre saying and agree with you the fight should go on but thats twice now for Povetkin. I like Povetkin, I tipped him to win but two wrongs dont make a right.

I agree the fight should go on, but Stiverne was investigated and was consumed in a legal ENERGY DRINK!!! Who knows how long Povetkin has been ingesting this substance. He was said to have taken at least 4-5 drug tests prior to December 6, and supposedly passed the first 3 or 4 before failing on the 5th.

Google ostarine lot of products pop up with it I just did it.
I think the fight will go on. Bute tested positive for it and his draw was not changed to a NC. He paid a fine and was "retroactively" suspended meaning he missed 0 time.
And again if Stiveren failed a test and the fight was not canceled it shouldn't be canceled for this either. If it's illegal substance like cocaine or an anabolic steroid different story.

Oh I agree. I'm not defending him here I'm only defending the right of the fight to proceed.
