Wow i'm surprised you're defending Wilder. Pretty sure you were on povetkin's side.

There has been no word yet on if the fight will be scratched, but what has been reported is that the WBC has withdrawn it's sanctioning of Povetkin-Stiverne.

Yeah, I hope the fight goes through, but I'm hoping Povetkin gets dropped from the rankings of the WBC completely. This guy is the modern day drago and cannot fight without taking PEDS..

I do wonder if his days as a ranked contender are not now effectively over.

Time to suspend Povetkin and Browne for LIFE. How many times do these guys have to be caught cheating before that happen?

Will be interesting to see what his defence will be, will he claim it was from a contaminated supplement like Stiverne and Bute, he still may avoid a ban if he can prove this is the case and it was taken accidentally.

But he is a monumental idiot either way, having just luckily avoided a ban already for Meldonium you'd think they would ensure he was clean or be more vigilant in regards to what he is supplementing with. With these 2 incidents he'll now be forever painted as a cheat whatever the outcome of this latest failed test.

Wilder must also think Christmas has come early, he'll be able to avoid Povetkin entirely now and keep fighting voluntaries.

The meldonium situation was enough for this guy to be put on notice NOT to mess with anything
    Bye bye Povetkin

I think so Rummy. This is 2 failed drug tests this year. I think the WBC may be done with him, but maybe he might be able to secure a ranking within another sanctioning body. Hmmm

Rule of the game though, if you get caught you are labeled a cheater even if those that havent been caught are taking it as well, as ridiculous as that sounds :BangHead:
