The World Boxing Council has released their ratings for the month of August and Olympic gold medal winner Alexander Povetkin (30-1, 22KOs) has retained his mandatory position, sitting at number one, to WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (37-0, 36KOs). -

Povetkin could also lose the ranking if the inestigation further rules against him down the road.

And let's go even a little further. The WBC is actively helping Wilder perpetuate his fraud reign.

Even casual fans knew that the meldonium in his system was a trace amount stored in fat cells from when it was legal, which VADA confirmed and the WBC has now had to admit after all of these months.

Wilder is a fraud, the WBC a corrupt joke, and Wilder's handlers are going to be guilty of manslaughter when they finally cash out and throw him to the lions, after he is thoroughly convinced that he is a world class fighter.

Wilder: still a fraud, still glass jawed.

He's going to wait until Povetkin is over 40 before fighting him.

looks like povetkin is going to need to take a couple fights while wilder heals. are the wbc hoping he loses in the meantime? or sits inactive?

POvetkin vs anyone from top 5 for the interm title, winner faces Wilder for the full title when he's recovered from his surgeries

Effectively this means there still isn't a ruling of any kind from the WBC. The "investigation" is still ongoing and we still know nothing. Either rule after WADA's charter and clear Povetkin or go the other way and rule the clean, clean, clean, trace amount, clean serie as proof of using after Meldonium was banned, and take the chance to be sued blind.

This is taking far too long already, and just looks like either fear, incompetence or stalling for a 3rd option to present itself. Or any combination of these options.

Yo , idiot. Haymon and Showtime are Wilders handlers , NOT the WBC.

Nobody is protecting Wilder. . The WBC FORCED Wilder to face Povetkin. Remind me how much Haymon bid to win the purse bids to protect him from going to Russia?? :patsch:nut

If Wilder got busted like Povetkin did , all you clowns would be demanding he be stripped and Povetkin win the belt by default.

Povetkin delayed the fight to run the juice out of his system. Then he was 100% to blame for it being cancelled.

When he turns up un-roided , lookin like the Michelin man again , Wilder is going to cream him all over the ring. You may as well delete your account when that happens.

Yeah. When I started taking meldonium I lost 40 lbs and gained a 6 pack. Meldonium is the bodybuilding drug the industry doesn't want you to know about!!

Pedvetkin is likely on a cacophony of substances.

His promoter spiked Olanrewaju Durodola with a banned substance and then claimed - The result of the fight where Kudryashov lost must be annulled.

    :-(
