Do we really need more threads on this topic?

Yes, it's that critical. Idiot Povetkin screwed us boxing fans of a great great fight. He deserves ALL THE FLACK he's going to get.

I'm not happy about the fight being postponed either, but I don't think we need this many threads about it.

Yes, we should have 1,000 Dustin Nichols threads a month and 100,000 chin-checker threads a week and 1 billion slow-motion scorecard threads in the days after Mayweather-Pac, but when a major heavyweight championship fight is off because one of the participants failed a drug test, we need limits.

There's about ten different threads on how Wilder is somehow the blame for this BS and nobody is complaining. Yeah, Povetkin should be harassed because what he did was premeditated irresponsibility. If somehow the fight can still be made, then I for one am ok with that because I think Wilder would beat him down regardless. However, if the Wilder team chooses not to fight, then so be it and if that's the case, Povetkin should also lose his mandatory status.

Povetkin had 70 nanograms of some minor, inconsequential substance in his system and Wilders team immediately sent a letter to the WBC spelling out there case why they shouldn't have to and absolutely will not defend the title, then they booked a flight back to the US.

These are the facts so far and I don't see how they could be disputed.

Povetkin is an idiot for providing them with a get out clause. It's the fans who have been done over again.

A coward and a cheat. Welcome to the WBC's vision of heavyweight boxing in 2016.

I'm not sure who you're trying to bash and neither do you.

The ONLY facts we have are povetkin FAILED A TEST and the wbc was nice enough to postpone the fight. Did you think DW and his team were somewhat in the wrong for flying home instead of flying to a country with zero obligations to fulfill over there ???

Most of you head cases don't know the difference between up and down. Those are the ONLY facts we have

I'm not bashing anyone. I was trying to lay down the only true facts we have at this point. How you take them is up to you. Your take that Wilder was right to get the hell out of there because Povetkin had 70 nanograms of some substance in his system is just as valid as any other opinion.

I, for one, am just frustrated I don't get to watch the fight. I was very much looking foreword to it.

Pedvetkin never wanted that work. He's really ****ing stupid to risk suspension and to lose money like that.
