Haye: Povetkin ducked me

A recent quote from David Haye about Alexander Povetkin

"Alex Povetkin ducked me in the amateurs, pulled out of a multi-nations final in Pula (Croatia) after I'd iced my two opponents in the first round"

 

Haye KO....dont know when, but it'll just be a matter of time

 

Haye has great speed, awesome power, and tons more experience than does Povetkin. Haye by KO inside of 4. Plus I have always thought that Povetkin has been a bit overrated...he's good but overrated a bit.

Haye by TKO round 8 - Too much speed and power.

 

Haye would brutalize Povetkin. Povetkin doesn't have dangerous power, so I doubt he gets Haye in trouble. He's a pressure fighter, a slow one at that. Haye would smoke him easy, and I don't even like Haye.

I agree he's a bit overrated. Nice avatar lol, I wonder how Carl Weathers would have done in the real world of boxing. He did look good in the ring in those movies, sort of looked like a natural but who knows if he could take a punch or not :dead.

All Povetkin needs to do is survive the first three or four rounds when Haye starts to get a little winded and careless and drop the hammer on Haye with a chopping right on the forehead or temple .Hayes legs will turn to spagetti and will be there for the taking.The key will be to survive the inital assault by Haye.Vitali does that chopping right to perfection as in his Hide and Donald ko's showed but he's very tall which makes that punch effective.Haye has shown that he has trouble with this punch and even Barret put him on ice skates with that grazing shot.

 

Only way I see Haye winning this is if he sparks him early. In any other situation, Povetkin will wear him down and eventually stop him.
