I think Sasha knows he aint the WORLD champion, but probably sees himself as a grade higher than a continental titlist.

Retaining that title does basically guarantee him an immediate shot at Wlad or Vitali if he is to see a weakness he thinks he can exploit.

And yeah........it should be a great fight. One thing aboput that fake title is we are at least guaranteed two good contenders squaring off.thumbsup

Yes, exactly why they have this tinker-bell title. It's agood fight, but ajoke to calll it title bout.

 

I like Huck coming in at 209, instead of doing what some cruisers do, fattening up to 220's, then turning in **** performance.

 

I'm glad you actually listed them, because after the first setence it would have been impossible to visualize.

 

Why are people so focused on the paper title? Who gives a **** it's not something new and outrageous.

 

I agree. I'm still backing Povetkin to win, but Huck made the right call on coming in lighter. Nothing frustrates me more than seeing how much these former cruisers bulk up once they get a big heavyweight fight- you're not going to overpower the Klitschko's anyway even with the bulk, better to try and maximie to your natural attributes and maintain speed and conditioning.

Granted, Huck having the style of an angry caveman means that might be less important than for a guy like Chambers, but the point still stands.
