Who would win at this point? Both fighters have 1 last chance to challenge for a title. But if they met in the ring, who takes it at this point?
Tough fight but Chisora has no graceful skills to make Povetkin think and would be predictable,Povetkin does everything better then he does but he has very good ring IQ as well. Povetkin gets him out late in a back and forth action fight.
Hmm it's actually a difficult call, Povetkin WAS far superior to Chisora but I really have the feeling that Povetkin hasn't got too much left at all, while chisora seems refreshed and has a bit left in the tank. For me, Povetkin would need to get Chisora out early because I don't think he wants to be hanging around in a gruelling affair for 12 rounds.
Chisora has already run out of last chances. His last chance was when he went to Monte Carlo and stunk the ring out against Kabayel. Povetkin is now 40 and there has never been a 40 year old first time HW champion. I back Povetkin purely because he has a better boxing brain and will manoeuvre Derek into traps and then capitalise on them. However both guys are way past it and no longer world champion contender status. They are both now gatekeeper for world level status.
