Firstly Duhaupas isn't great. He's a middling Euro level fighter at best. It's only Wilder knobslobbers that we're making him out to be some hugely unheralded talent who any fighter would have to walk through hell to overcome. Secondly he was fighting on a few hours notice against a chemically enhanced, coming off a full camp fighter who has always been several tiers above him giving this fight next to no meaning in the grand scheme of things. Thirdly both Deontay and Sasha are a disgrace to the sport. They can both take a running jump as far as I'm concerned. One is the most reluctant belt holder in living memory whilst the other is a certified cheat. **** them.
Pov is scary. Needs to stop cheating because I'm sure he'd still be scary without the PEDs. That's two fights I really wanted to see that didn't happen. Although the first one was BS and not his fault, Wilder pussied out.
Because they were actually better fighters as Duheap, and he was out of shape against Huckic. He has been on Meldonium for many years now, which is only illegal since last year, and I'm pretty sure that wasn't the only thing he was using either.
Povetkin has never looked better, utterly brutal, but we all know why. Problem he has now is that he'll struggle to get a shot at anyone with a title now, he'll get black balled and rightly so, no sanctioning body will likely sanction him for a title fight.
Don't forget about the WBA. They've been very, very forgiving for drugcheats in the past and probably will continue to be in the future. There's also the IBF of course, but only when you're sporting a US passport.
