I think Estrada is holding his own better than I expected he would.

Estrada is trying with leading left hook. Both punching a bit blindly. Some wild hook and clinch.. Big hook right hand for Povetkin. And quick left hook for Povetkin. Povetkin puts there a lot of energy in this round. Povetking's round
29-29.

 

I am starting to hope Estrada pulls the upset.

2-1 Povetkin

 

The beginning of the 3rd went real slow but action picked up towards the middle. Povetkin landed a smooth 1-2 and Estrada came back with a quick counter almost instantly. Lots of clinches and tie ups by Estrada. Povetkin nails Estrada on the ropes with a big right hook but Estrada weathers it. Referee decides to be a **** stick and get in the way of the camera so I msis the last 10 seconds. I gave that round to Povetkin BUT it is close.

I have it 1-1-1.

 

Round 3 had more action.
It looks like this fight will end up a slugfest.
They were both more eager to stand in front and wing at each other.
Povetkin landed some hard body and head shots.
I gave Round 3 to Povetkin.
