atsch dear ****ing god, if anything I hope the Real Deal wins because he ain't going to pack it in until he does! http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=499&cat=boxer http://ringsidereport.com/?p=15782
I still see no quotes from either fighter, promoter or trainer confirming this. I wont be shocked if it happens all the same.
It is sad. But that same never say die attitude that got him though so many classic fights from Qawi onwards, still thrives in Holyfield despite the body being 48 years old now. I hope he does not get hurt as no matter what, be it a LKO1 or a LU12 I strongly think he will continue. I believe that the legality of this sport is built around that as long as an individual is able to pass the tests required, who are we to stop him fighting no matter what his age? Holyfield severely tests my faith.:-(
Don't suppose it matters who Povetkin fights - he isnt really a defending champion anyway. Looking forward to when the WBA make him fight Wlad, though not holding my breath for Pov to actually take the fight.
Holyfield is probably as capable of Chagaev, and subject to passing the medicals should be allowed to fight. The issue is that people remember how good he was, and how far he has slipped since those days that upsets us. I think he'll take Povetkin the distance at the very least, he's not the top class prospect that battered Chris Byrd anymore.
Povetkin and Atlas can go and take a **** to themselves. I'd love to see Pov get obliterated by Vitali.
You know what ,i bet you Holyfield Gives him a fight ,and makes him dig into the trenches! I would love it if he won, cause i think he would retire after it .Lets be honest he was robbed against Valuev ...
