Povetkin vs Joshua

Joshua's too unproven to make a prediction. Povetkin doesn't do too well against taller opponents though, and Joshua possesses true fight ending power. Could go either way really.

 

Povetkin beat Wach from pillar to post. Wlad would have got hit , stunned and taken out if he wasn't illegally holding very 5 seconds.
There isn't any basis to say he doesn't do well against big men. The body shots he gave Wach were brutal , he said he never felt anything like it in his life.
It took Joshua two rounds to recover from a Whyte body shot. Povetkin has a very good counter left hook as well. If he cought AJ , he wouldn't have squandered the follow up opportunity like Whyte did.
I'd favour Povetkin against Joshua right now.

 

Joshua by KO in a non-competitive fight

 

Joshua is not without chance here. He hits hard and can take Povetkin out. I would give Povetkin a 60:40 favorite position here though. More experienced, better technically, better combinations.

More proven done mean ****. Povetkin is a ****ing midget and will brutally get KO'd. Because you're more proven doesn't necessarily mean that you're gonna be victorious. Style make fight and Povetkin will get thrown around like a ragdoll by Joshua.

 

Pac came up as an underdog winning fights he wasn't meant to win.
AJ has never been an underdog. His comp level has been dreadful.
Being more proven means everything in this sport.
Klitschko couldn't keep Povetkin off him without holding on. Joshua doesn't illegally clinch for deal life.
He'll box Povetkin in spurts but pov won't allow him box patiently. He puts the pressure on, clips him stuns him and finishes him.

 

Nothing Joshua has done or shown up to this point shows that. Nothing. Beating up on Martin and Breazealle is different than fighting a guy like Povetkin who is complete pro. Joshua is so babied and coddled it is laughable.
