What would be the result if Povetkin vs Klitschko II happens with fair referee? I see three outcomes Povetkin by DQ win, Wlad by UD or Povetkin by KO.

Wlad would certainly be pressed alot more. If he couldnt get an early stoppage I wouldnt rule out him running out of gas. Without him being able to hold as much he will have to move more and throw more punches. That said, I'd still pick Wlad to win.

Wlad would gas out around 6 rounds, if he can't do clinching. Povetkins pressure would be too much, and Wlad can't fight high volume.

Maybe. But Povetkin still has to survive those rounds. Lets not forget Povetkin was dropped in the second and almost didnt make it out of the seventh. While I can still entertain the possibility of Wlad gassing Povetkin is still going to get hit more if Klit is not allowed to clinch. To win he would need to shore up his defense more and at this stage of his career Im not sure he can do that.

    That is very optimistic

How will he score this KO

By uppercuting povetkin repeatedly whilst he has him in a headlock ?

Or by smashing his forearm into povetkin's throat ?

Both of which failed the first time around

Well he did drop Povetkin 4 times officially when he wasn't holding him, now what happens when Wlad is forced to set down on his punches because he can't hold. He drops Povetkin 4 more times maybe more and without all the holding he might even get a few devastating left hooks in there too.

I'm a big fan of Povetkin's but.......it took him 7 rounds of landing on Charr before KOing him, and 10 rounds of landing on Takam, do you really think he'll be able to land flush on Wlad enough to wear him down for the KO like he did with Takam, who was actually doing quite well in that match up until the stoppage.

Wlad was a disgrace that night

2 of those knock downs were due to wrestling moves

How did he get away with head locking and upper cutting povetkin all night ?

    Corruption that's how

    You over rate wlad

He has clearly declined whilst povetkin has improved

Povetkin could shatter the glass in one round if he finds a punch similar to the one he KO'd a near iron chinned Perez with.

That would mean Wlad risks getting punched too, which is a very long shot. And that punch that KTFOd Perez may as well end Wlad too. But I'd still pick Wlad by late stoppage.

I can't really say Povetkin would win but it'd at least be a fair fight which is worth watching more than once. I never watched the original fight again it was too lame.

    Same result as Brewster I.

Wlad had his holding taken away and Brewster was able to get him out of there in just 5 rounds.

No bear hugging and grappling opens up Wlad for Povetkin on the inside and the fat slower version of 2 years ago had no trouble getting inside on him.

Todays faster , fitter Povetkin bombs Wlad out within two rounds in a straight up and fair fist on fist boxing match.

Wlad can't box and no way can he match Povetkin.

Wlad is happily to move forward with that blemish on his record with no desire whatsoever to prove he could beat Povetkin fairly.

Great champs set the record straight.

People thought Castillio beat Floyd. He went in and done it again. There was question marks over Maidane. He went and done it again.

Not many would face Groves again after the beating Froch took. Froch took the immediate rematch.

Wlad only rematches guys who are washed up and past it like Thompson II AND bREWSTER II.
