    Russian raid on Joseph Parker's WBO world heavyweight title

    The backers of Alexander Povetkin have hatched an ambitious plan to lure Joseph Parker to Russia next July and hold a WBO world title fight alongside one of the world's biggest trade fairs.

    The controversial Povetkin, whose long and successful career has been blighted by two recent doping controversies, fights Germany's Christian Hammer next month.

    The WBO has sanctioned the fight as a final eliminator to decide who is Parker's next mandatory challenger for his world heavyweight belt.

    Id much rather see Joshua fight Povetkin than Parker. Povetkin can get that fight if he takes Parkers belt

    Parker ends povetkins career :D . bye bye drug cheat... and parker just beat a mandatory... so how can they force him to Russia lmao.. parker vs browne first please then povetkin or Joshua idc which 2nd.

    I can't wait for this fight. Povetkin is a dark horse in the HW divison, like a shark lurking in the deep waters, and waiting to strike on the surface. He takes out Parker, and goes the full 12 against Joshua in a losing effort. my 2 cents.

    Povetkin would beat Parker. Remember, VADA cleared Povetkin, he was framed by Wilder's protectors and so was Ortiz!

    Povetkin wins this via a UD or late stoppage, more likely though a UD, because Parker has a granite chin on him.

    Povetkin was just another victim of the WBC VADA scam, of fitting up live bodies with failed tests, so queen latifa is only facing stiffs and gets to keep his WWE belt.
