Povetkin KO3 Price comes out nervous as anything, tries to throw some shots in the first two rounds but gets countered and stressed out. By the 3rd he is completely gassed and not throwing for fear of being countered, and Povetkin bum rushes him and takes him out with a grazing shot to the side of the head. Price gets up slightly unstead, but now takes a bomb flush on chin and is out before he hits the canvas. KO win for Povektin.
Povetkin gets him out of there within 4 rounds. Counter right hand over a slow Price jab will start the beginning of the end.
Price has good power, but cannot take a punch and hesitates when he's crowded. Also, even if Price does land a good shot on Povetkin I doubt he'd stop Povetkin, who even at his age still seems very durable.
I don't think there are going to be any winners in this fight. Hearn should be ashamed of himself. So should Povetkin. So should Price's management. It's not easy to kill a heavyweight in the ring, compared to lighter weight fighters. But Price is in real danger. Whatever ability he had once to take a punch is gone. He's not even a shell of his former self. His former self would've stopped this David Price inside a round. In his last fight, Price went six rounds with a guy who had four wins and one KO. I don't use this term often, but this matchup is "criminal." No winners in this.
o for sure, easy , first three rounds EASY povetkin ko. I woudlnt' be surprised if just 2 rounds. It will be so damn funny I cant wait
