Povetkin vs Stiverne

If Stiverne comes in as heavy as he did in his last fight, he might get stopped late. Povetkin likes his bodyshots.

 

PEDvetkin on points. Stiverne has a solid jaw that not even a country sponsored, doped up, flabby, man droid can crack.

 

Stiverne has been knocked out before and by far lesser fighters than Povetkin..............Povetkin by knockout!!!

 

Povitkin should win possibly points but will he mess it up?

 

I don't think Stiverne actually has much of a jaw. Wilder would've knocked him out had he not broken his hand early.

On the other hand, Povetkin couldn't stop Wach (cuts don't count) despite laying into him for 12 rounds, which is worrying.

 

The poll is emphatic.Povetkin is going to bust him up and Wilder will faint at the sight of the carnage.

 

Who has stopped Wach before? The dude is a walking tank, not even Wlad could put him away.

 

Stiverne might turn this fight down so he can face Joshua for a full belt.

That would mean Povetkin might face the WBC #3: Pulev.

Pulev v Povetkin could be pretty interesting. Probably a lot more interesting than Povetkin v Stiverne, which would be one-sided.

 

Yeah, I know, but I still don't like it. For Wlad he was so safety first that I'm more understanding of what happened.

 

Stiverne has looked like garbage since winning the title, his hunger for success was replaced for hunger at the dinner table as soon as he won the WBC belt.

If the fighter that beat up Arreola shows up he will be dangerous as he looks to counter Povetkin on the way in and could give Povetkin a tough fight like Huck did but lose a decision.

If the Stiverne that we have seen recently shows up, he'll have a punchers chance but if Wlad couldn't take out Povetkin, Stiverne won't and will get ground down and stopped, which for me seems the most likely scenario.

 

If Povetkin's performances against Huck, and Chageav are to go by. Then Alexander's in deep trouble. I could see a scenario where Povetkin's stamina is deeply effected without his PED's. And the big fat walrus Stiverne, slowly catches up with him later rounds, corners him. And savagely beats him down Ray Austin style.
