I watched that fight couple of times. I've seen almost all Povetkin's fights. I was a little surprised with those knockdowns in 4th round. Povetkin is usually known for having a strong chin. I guess there is some serious weight behind Whyte's punches. I though that the only way Povetkin could go down in this fight was from that massive left hook that Whyte is know for. So I was little surprised with that first knockdown. I don't know if you could call it full fledged knockdown but he took a knee, gloves touched the canvas. He took combinations of shots there but what I noticed is Whyte has a very unusual right hand for a fighter. If you can look at the video at 2:03 and later 4:12 when the onslaught started and look at that right hand. Very hard to defend against that kind of right hand as it is thrown somehow from the bicep and not even a shoulder. There is no movement of torso and getting into position that would at least signal to you that right hand is coming, And it's surprisingly fast No wonder Povetkin got caught with those shots. Second knockdown was what I was expecting. Well timed when Sasha was throwing right uppercut. Anyway good fight. Both guys deserve a credit. I would like to see a rematch because it wasn't one sided fight all the way.

    Oh and one more thing....
I am not a dentist to pay such a close attention :D but is that a tooth falling out of Whyte's mouth at 6:16?

Povetkin said after the fight that whyte has serious power in both hands. He was really impressed.

I think Povetkins punch resisitance has deminished a fair bit tbh. He was getting wobbled from punches from Hunter that didnt seem to be anything huge in his last fight.

Luckily his power and boxing brain are still in full tact at 41 and that makes up for any physical decline for him.

I can see him getting KOd in his next few fights but thats likely to be Whyte, Fury or maybes Usyk so even if he does, no shame there.

Yeah you might be right. After those crushing blows from Klitschko and AJ his punch resistance might now be the same anymore. I noticed that the fighters especially in their 40s don't take punches that well anymore
