apparently povetkin the best heavyweight prospect in the world, was 132-0 as an amateur!!! is there any proof in this?

he was the olympic gold super heavyweight

The guy is definately something to look out for. he took on larry donlad who was 42-4-3 in his 13th fight! bearing in mind that larry JUST came off a fight which most people think he won quite comfortably against nikolay valuev

you know larry is a crafty and quite slick fighter.

According to different sources he was 125-7 or 125-20, 125-7 being the one mentioned the most. I can see that on the english version of wikipedia he is 132-0, but that is definately wrong.

132 -0 that would just be unreal as an amateur!! Does anybody know an amateur with over 100 fights and no losses? I dont!

    No, because it's bull****.
He lost to Alexei Lezin (Russian National Championships 2003), Sebastian Köber (Chemiepokal 2001, Germany), Alexei Mazikin (World Championships 2001, Ireland), Zoltan Kiss (Multi Nations Cup, Liverpool 1998), Kwamena Turckson (Gee-Bee Tournament 1998, Finland) and a few more. 125-20 is credibly because you can be sure he had some more losses as a junior, those fights are often left out in amateur records.

Amazing, its a shame that he was arrested and is now back in Cuba and is not allowed to fight anymore.
