He was champion well before 22 fights. Its the new normal these days. After beating Whyte for a title belt, did he really need to pick an awful Martin, and a very limited Breazeale and Molina? Povetkin would have been a much better choice in 2016 when he was 36-37 years old. But Joshua waited until Povetkin was 39, and looked beatable in both outings. His best two wins are over a 41 and 39 year old. While the Wad fight happened when it could ben made, the Povetkin fight could have happened much sooner. Age 39 seldom beats age 28, unless 39 is an all time great, and 28 is just a mere contender type. That's all I'm saying
I hear the salt goes down with a nice glass of pickle juice.. You can't even hate with proper facts dummy.
Dino, You are the #1 joke on the board. Ya wants facts? Okay, Povetkin washed up landed more power punches in rounds 1,2,3,4, and 5! How about those apples? Yes, he had Joshua's knees buckled, and in another round holding on. Proper facts. Father time caught up with Povetkin. I would not be beating my chest as a Joshua fan if I were you, I'd wonder what if Joshua is in their with a top ranked boxer in his prime, who's not going to gas. ie. Wilder or Fury.
Ortiz didn't want the win against Wilder. With Dave Alen it also looked like he was playing theater(he was able to knock him out for seconds, but making it like Alen is "tough guy", but Alen is bad actor, there were couple funny moments). So, no, Ortiz is not a warrior like Povetkin.
Horrendous. Imagine Mills Lane in there. The contest would have been drawn to a halt after the 3rd round.
In fights in general when the opponent got close, he did it against Tua, Holyfield and numerous others.....also the horrific fight with Akinwande which was disgusting to watch.
