Since K2 is owning the rest of the belts for the foreseeable future, that puts Povetkin in a nice spot to pick and choose opponents.

I'm sure that all the top fighters in HW division would rather face Povetkin than Wlad or Vitali.

Chambers has said many times that he wants a rematch, which I suppose he may get if he defeats Adamek.

I'd assume Adamek has the same plans.

Thompson is Wlad's IBF mandatory, so he's out.

Arreola will likely fall into a fight with Wlad sooner than later.

That leaves a lot of decent opponents for Povetkin to sort through. Who do you think he will pick?

  2. I thought they said Chisora is after the Rahman fight?

After Rahman, he'll have a voluntary defense, perhaps Ustinov, Boytsov, Ortiz, Charr or Wawrzyk (all WBA ranked).

There's Chisora, but he has no license or WBA ranking.

Povetkin's promised Huck a rematch. And Fury has applied for a WBA ranking because he wants to fight Povetkin.

The WBA declared some time ago that Povetkin and Wlad have to fight by Mar 31, 2014.

rahman(next)....then winner of sasha/puluev....then boytsov in about 18 months....less cash than klits/ but better chance to make smaller amounts

ps i remember alex garxia downing a bowe camp offer in 1993 for 750 grand...his managers declined alex garcia then went and fought on usa network for 10 grand and getting knocked out by mike dixon....POVETKINS TEAM=JUNK......

Joe you're correct most of the time but they have to fight each other by Mar 2013 :deal

    2014 would be laughable.

My guess would be Rahman (mandatory).
    Pulev Dimi winner
Then Fury will likely find a way to get ranked #1 and Potvetkin will get him.:think
