Which scenario is most likely, assuming pending lawsuits are to follow.

Wilder walked out on a signed contract and doesn't have a skinny leg to stand on as Povetkin did not fail any test. WADA set the rules on testing, not Haymon and his cronies. So he will not be able to face anybody else and should be stripped. Lesson for Wilder, don't walk away from a signed fight without agreement from the tester and the governing body.

You keep parroting this. Wilder didn't walk out. The WBC postponed it.

He walked away from the contract, or is trying to, and grab the Russian promoters cash like a thief.

Considering the sanctioning body chose to suspend the fight likely to get a better understanding of the whole debacle surrounding Meldonium I can't see how Povetkin could win any legal suit against Wilder when Wilder did nothing to stop or stall the fight.

It will come down to what the WBC decides to do. They may decide to allow Povetkin to have his mandatory shot at a later date or they may decide to strip Povetkin of his mandatory status. It will come down to the legal defence in regards to Meldonium doping cases and the possibility it lingers in the system for longer than WADA expected.

He didn't walk away before the WBC officially postponed pending further investigation.

    Your anger is clearly misdirected.

    Lawsuit.

If the amount of meldonium that Ryabinskii stated is correct, then Povetkin did not fail test, therefore Wilder had no legal ground to pull from the fight and title defence will be enforced. It will be more awful for team Wilder if sample B is negative. However I doubt that there will be any serious money penalties from the court to any side.

Povetkin has the more powerful brokers backing him.

    Ryabinsky:

"If we don't come to an agreement about the fight with Wilder's team, we are ready to meet them in court," said Ryabinsky.

"The fight is not cancelled but postponed, we are discussing a new date. There are no legal barriers for the fight. The official Wilder-Povetkin fight status is "postponed." Everything else is just thoughts of some persons...All claims against Povetkin are legally unsound. This is just an inflated press story."

Looks like a Dionkey fight vs Scuba or Sir Charlie Can-tin ain't happening.

It all depends on WADA's ultimate verdict.
