    After last fight?

If AJ and Parker won't reach agreement, Sasha will have 2 options - WBA route and WBO route. If AJ and JP agree, he'll eventually face the winner of AJ vs Parker unification (with AJ looking like the most likely winner).

So anyway (if nothing unexpectable happens) Povetkin will fight either AJ or Parker.

What do you expect in either case?

I like Povetkins chances against both to be honest. He’ll come in the best shape of his career and ready. He knows it’s now or never at this point. I didn’t think he looked bad at all today vs Hammer considering all the hugging and survival tactics Christian did.

Povetkin is past his prime for sure. Joshua could probably beat him, stopping him in the late rounds. Parker and Wilder, Povetkin might beat parker 50-50 and probably beats Wilder.

Povetkin looks deteriorated from what he was, at 38 years old that was inevitable.

Against AJ I think he gets stopped. Against Parker I think he loses a decision. However, I rank him number 3 still in the HW division. He beats everyone else out there.

Credit to Hammer, who came in looking the most in shape I have seen him ever.

I think he's faded a bit, still a top fighter but has lost a step.

He was too often inactive and just standing right in front of Hammer, doing nothing. That will cost him against opponents who are not afraid to let their hands go unlike Hammer who seemed scared to throw.

I think Povetkin would be tough fights for both. I think AJ would just hit too hard and AJ's uppercut is a proven weapon that would punish Povetkin when he comes in. I see Joshua stopping Povetkin in the middle rounds.

Parker has a tougher time with Povetkin. I don't think he has the power to just stand and trade with him, he'll get pushed back and forced to box eventually. Maybe Parker can box his way to a decision but I think Povetkin gradually breaks him down. Parker had a tough time with the inferior and less active Ruiz Jr, I think Povetkin can do what Ruiz Jr did but do it better. Povetkin likely on points.

I think he stops Parker and if Joshua gasses like he usually does, he too gets stopped. Povetkin throws good combinations and Joshua gets very wobbly on the mid rounds, he just hasn't had the misfortune of fighting someone that throws combos like Povetkin

I think he is a big threat to any of the title holders. He is clearly on the decline but he isnt shot yet and i think he is the most technically skilled of the division too. He likes to fight up close which is what Takkam made Joshua uncomfortable with but is better than the Frenchman. Wilder has serious technical flaws that a skilled figher like Povetkin looks to take advantage of and Parker is just really basic. Parker vs Povetkin would be a gruelling war.

If im honest i feel any of them would force Povetkin to leave Russia to fight and would have him drug tested to within an inch of his life and i still dont trust Russians fighting out of Russia. Last night Povetkin was quite energetic and was good for 12 rounds. Very cynical of me but get him to the UK or America and surround him with WADA people and im not convinced he is quite so spritely for a full fight.

i'd put povetkin and ortiz on even footing for being the best contenders to the 3 champions.
of the 3, of course, joshua takes the cake as being the one most likely to defeat povetkin. i can't see parker outworking povetkin, and i can't see wilder managing to keep povetkin out by utilizing range.

yah but so did audley harrison

Don't think he'll pass the drug tests on either bout honestly. But if he does test clean, I'm confident he would beat Parker. Think Joshua would probably be a little too much for him, and he would suffer his first stoppage loss.

    Sigh.

I think that Destruction posted the truth.

Povetkin's old and his chances of a belt are fading daily. I think that Sasha from a few years ago would have stopped Hammer. I think the chances of beating AJ are dwindling rapidly and that Parker and maybe even Wilder are probably close to 50 / 50 fights right now.

He needs his shot, and sooooon.
