Really impressed me with those uppercuts tonight. That RUdenko is a tough SOB, never been KO'd or knocked down, went 12 with Hughie Fury and Lucas Browne. I definitely see Povetkin getting the Anthony Joshua fight before the end of 2018. his Promoter Ryabinsky definitely has the $$$$$ to entice Joshua and Hearn.. It could be big.. Povetkin should fight Dillian Whyte or Luis Ortiz next ASAP!!! ... that would out him back in contention. OK I'm done rambling lol

Now that Povetkin didn't get a KO it could actually happen. Povetkin seemed dissapointed that it went the distance, but still very dominant performance.

Povetkin is a damn good boxer. People forget he won a world championship and a Olympic Gold in the amateurs. He has very good skills, chin and underrated power.

Joshua might have too many opponets that he could fight, so they might not need Povetkin. Joshua could fight:

    Klitschko rematch
    Whyte rematch
Tyson Fury (if he comes back)
    Chisora voluntary defence
    Pulev mandatory
    Wilder
    Parker
    Tony Bellew (easy money win)
David Haye (money fight, Haye slowed down past prime)
Ortiz (Hearns feed him to take dive)

    Easier voluntary defences
    Ruiz Jr
    Takam

Povetkin is the most skilled combination puncher and inside fighter in the HW division. I thought it was a good performance vs Rudenko who just has some inhuman ability to take punches. If anything I would've liked to see him punish Rudenko to the body more instead of just accepting the clinches.

I absolutely loved how brutally he KO'd Charr... I think people were expecting this from him tonight.

povetkin brings more money than any of those except maybe wlad. chisora, whyte, haye, or bellew are seen as universal joke opponents outside the uk.

he did that. rudenko just takes a far better shot than charr. too bad charr wasn't as tough as the French ww2 tank of the same name.

As soon as Wilder saw that, he begged his handlers to make something happen so he wouldn't have to step in the ring with Povetkin.

It appears that Haymon paid the WBC to keep Povetkin away from Wilder. VADA cleared Povetkin, but that was not good enough for the WBC and Haymon..................Wilder will now fight another wino from the alley..............

I think Povetkin will get a shot at Parker, he will never get Wilder into a ring..........

I hope Povetkin gets one big fight and maybe a belt before he retires

I agree. I though Povetkin accepted too many clinches in this fight. He didn't start hitting the body until around round 7. His jab was also absent but still a very solid performance. I give him a B

I agree Wilder will never face Povetkin. And Joshua has too many options, Wlad rematch, Pulev mando, maybe Fury, maybe Beyoncé, Whyte rematch, chisora always sells in England.
Povetkin vs Parker I believe will happen.
