I don't understand this "Perez wasn't the same since Abdusalamov, he wasn't that good to begin with." If Perez was never that good and he got worse after the Abdusalamov fight, then what does that tell us about Jennings and Wlad's performance against him?

It simply tells us that Jennings is a very basic fighter. He didn't do **** against Klitschko but win a couple rounds.

Who else has managed to do that in the last 10 years? Nobody.

this is exactly why Pov is heavily favoured over Windmills, the difference in class of their last 10 opponents is massive

Wilder had no respect for Molina or Duhaupusses
power... he'll have respect for Povetkin power and
try to stay away and use his reach...

If Wilder gets careless like he often does with windmills
he's gonna get KTFO brutally against Povetkin!!

    :dead

Boswell had just destroyed a couple undefeated up and
comers before Povetkin destroyed him and it was such a
shock to Boswell he gave up on boxing for years...

Perez and Takam would have a great chance of knocking
Wilder out if they didn't get caught cold and KOd early...

Perez and Takam if they survived the early windmills would
be tagging that chin of Willder hundreds of times until it
shattered like fine China!! Watch any of their fights... when
they get hit they throw right back... most Wilder opponents
have been human punching bags that throw very few punches!!

Like his fights are mostly scripted...

He really will have to respect the power of Povetkin. I just can't imagine him staying upright if he gets caught with the kind of shots that Duhaupas laid on him.

Can you see him employing an almost Sven Ottke/Mayweather style against Povetkin?

2nd best resume behind Wlad among top contenders.

I thought his resume up til Chambers was great for his first 15 bouts beating Ahunyaya and Byrd and Chambers and I believe Bostice

Then he was Mando for Wlad but got hurt in training and took a huge leap back in comp

Thought he looked ok vs over the hill Chagaev but did get rocked

Thought he was rocked several times and lost to Huck

    Rahman was done and fat

Takam is a great win also by stoppage

Charr is not a great win but he destroyed him and thsts also a return bout after getting beaten up by Wlad so it looks a little better in context

Perez was fat and in my eyes winless since Mago which was close. He did knock him cold and Perez did look good vs Jennings...I don't know if it's overrated or underrated

I thought Povetkin did ok in a few of the early rounds vs Wlad moving in and getting angles and frustrating him

I think Povetkins run is impressive but a little overblown

He doesn't beat Wlad, probably beats Wilder but he's a sucker for a right hand and bruises

As opposed to Wilder's last ten of Johan Duhaupas, Eric Molina, Bermane Stiverne, Jason Gavern, Malik Scott, Nicolai Firtha, Siarhei Liakhovich, Audley Harrison, Matthew Greer, and Kelvin Price.
