In the US military it depends what part, if you were in the fleet & will wear the squared away neat uniforms more often. They will prefer double-rations to make sure you look filled up opposed to getting your T count up by PEDs, nobody wants more hot headed guys in offices, so the old school Roids are discouraged in the fleet not as much as poor attitude developing drugs (Weed...etc).

If you were with the Grunt units (more than likely also contractors & security/LE industry in general), you will find out the PED culture is present & healthy with the knowledge of the brass, because they want more muscular more intense troops. Its excellent for the troops & they become much more available the closer they are to combat.

HGH is a later development & changed the PED culture alot, although other forms of PEDs also evolved into advanced forms, but HGH is singled out as best for organs & is now its part of every elite gain cycle for those who can afford HGH. Athletes, military or just wealthy middle aged men who want to become more robust. In boxing HGH is a no-brainer choice for any Heavyweight because it gives you an unlimited gain advantage, without having to worry about growing out of the weight class, other PEDs that help with recovery & rapid hydration (more convenient replacement for Creatine) are much suitable for lower classes. It just makes training much easier and fighters can focus on more techniques, instead of wasting more time on conditioning...that usually causes more injuries if overdone especially as boxers age, so PED helps improve boxing. We got to see JMM deliver unreal punches at Welterweight, at the end of his career, looking better than he was a young man, we got to see a Hulky version of Flyweight Pacman at Welterweight, PEDs are great for boxing, especially if they become more accessible to all boxers & more knowledge develops with extensive use :toney
