Well I see PED use as akin to loading your gloves. It turns a boxing match into a crime IMHO and those caught should be prosecuted.

Fair enough, I should have limited the statement somewhat towards certain sports.
Heavyweight boxing is very high up there these days. I doubt there's many heavyweight professionals around who have never taken PEDs.

Are you saying all the volleyball players and footballers are tested constantly ? That's a lot of people to be testing constantly.

It don't matter because they are both on drugs so that just makes it par for the course.

Stiverne could take any substance known to man and he wouldn't beat Povetkin. He's never been on Povetkin's level and he's been struggling of late. Povetkin would not go the distance with Derric Rossy like Stiverne just did or give the same kind of lackluster performance he did against Wilder.

Sounds like Povetkin's heart is beating to the PED beat, as normal.

On the levels such as first 2 divisions (Serie A/B for football, A1/A2 for volley) all players are tested very regularly and it's a completely random testing. As the competition level is lower, testing frequency is lower as well.

There were examples where players from the lower leagues would take some stuff to heal injuries that contained forbidden substances, possibly without even knowing it, and as soon as they were registered for the Cup matches (where there is naturally a possibility of encountering a higher level team) they tested positive and caught some pretty harsh bans and punishments.

In those 2 sports, as well as water-polo and basketball, everyone is tested very well.

In boxing, to my knowledge, Italian National Anti Doping (NADO) tests all boxers who are in a sanctioned national or international title match, and tests everyone who is currently in possession of a title. Not about about the frequency or if it's actually random or not though.

Maybe because it's two totally different substances and circumstances? Maybe?

Well, if you look at how many tests athletes like Marion Jones and Lance Armstrong passed clean, it brings it into perspective.
