    :think things that make you go hmmm huh. I say both Floyd and Povetkin are VERY concerned about what the targets of their drug test demands are doing in the ring aren't they? :deal

    A few things about WADA:

    - They are a (large) group of individuals seeking (and achieving) dominance in the world of amateur sports (especially the Olympics) through various methods;
    - One of their biggest flaws is that they do so many tests, they test for virtually everything out there, and it dramatically increases probability of false positive results (happens all the time);
    - They ARE NEVER RESPONSIBLE for their errors - it's stated in their contracts;
    - WADA employees have often been described as arrogant;
    - Their officials are biased towards sportsmen from their countries and overly strict to their competitors from other countries (quite a few scandals took place because of that);
    - WADA's biggest achievement so far was to monopolise US funding in their favor;
    - WADA is not suitable for professional sports because they refuse to assume financial responsibility for errors (which means if a boxer tested positive but it later turned out to be a false result, we the fans lose the fight, promoters and TV lose their money, venues lose their traffic and get their scheduals ****ed up and so on and so on, in short - WADA leaves everyone around in deep ****, with boxers' reputations shattered and companies losing money, while they simply walk away with no responsibility whatsoever);
    - Nevertheless they are trying to conquer the world of pro sports by means of.. I don't know. For example, I'd really like to know exactly how they managed to get into ARD (the German state owned TV channel), but you can do the math anyway.

    The "problem" is Povetkin is a contender nothing else.

    Chambers was with Balco! Did the Champ ask him of any tests? The IBF is involvend, so that is enough. It is a mandatory.

    I'd say WK looks like a bloody body builder but I wouldn't imply anything dodgy by saying it. I guess he works out differently than his older brother, probably a lot of weight lifting. Vitali looks much more like a boxer - muscular, but not that much - it's not good for stamina, one of the main factors in boxing, anyway.

    Honestly, by looking WK at the beginning of the Chambers fight, I was think - what a f.cking hulk and how the hell it must be tagged by one of his straight rights. Damn, he was just scary...

    Wlad looks very well trained and ripped. Nothing about body building. He can go 12 rounds against Fast Eddie without any problems and knocked Chambers out in the 12th!

    Too many people on the forum whose idea of hard work is typing out a 20 word post.

    Shouldn't the boxing commission be in charge of this and not the fighters/promoters?

    For some reason ESPN won't let me watch flash based stream because I use Linux FFS. Adobe writes the freaking software so it isn't like there is some incompatibility. M$ probably pays them a fee to cut off Linux users. They have done that crap before.

    They should but they are'nt.

    If you've read recently that a judge found the NYSAC negligent of their duties and purposely announced at a weighin 10 years ago that Gatti had made weight against Joey Gamache when the video evidence clearly showed he was not........then you would know why fighters like Mayweather and Povetkin want to take matters into their own hands to ensure a fair fight.

    Its about time that fighters start to demand fairness and not rely on proven corrupt boxing commisions to protect that they will be walking into a even playing field.

    Wake up people and smell the nauseating fowlness that comes from every one of these corrupt boxing commisions which are always stating that they exist to protect the fighters!:barf

    Not like a professional body builder, no. This is a modern day heavyweight body builder:

    Compare this to Wlad. In a hardcore bodybuilder gym Wlad would look like a tall but skinny bi***. This doesn't gurantee Wlad doesn't take or never took any substances. Just saying that in order to reach his physique there is absolutely no need for any substance abuse.

    "Just" 10-15 years of incredible discipline regarding a clean diet, exercise, cardio and resting.

    Agreed. Absolutely nothing needed other than a clean diet, exercise, and time.

    I'd hate to see the livers & kidneys on those two...

    Good. Not suggesting he's roiding, but boxing should have more testing.
