Lets say you have 2 guys who are both 160lbs. Their punch technique is best as it can be and they are identical in everyway, except 1 is 5ft 8 and the other is 6ft 2.
any ideas who would generate more power?
didn't know where to put this so thought this would be the best place

I'd suggest that the smaller guy would generate more power, reason being it is the diameter, not the mass of a muscle which indicates power. Thus the smaller guy is going to have muscles of a slightly greater diameter in theory.

However, the tall guy has the advantage of leverage. So he may be able to generate force over a greater distance in a shorter space of time. So its tough to pick. I'd imagine the difference to be very small.

    any really.
i did mean before, that the punch technique they have means they are able to get the most power possible, therefore its a question of extra muscle mass or leverage from your frame that produces more power

different punches favor different builds, so it's not a matter of every punch being better for one build than the other. i think certain punches are inherently better for certain builds than for others.
