Power Hug is an underrated Skill in Boxing

There are boxer punchers, there are puncher boxers and then there is Floyd Mayweather, wrestler runner.

 

It's a wrestling move and therefore illegal in boxing so no it is not a skill in boxing it's a foul

 

Aliken to the ground game in UFC (once frowned upon many years ago but now appreciated for the skill involved), this too shall be seen highly. Aside from speed, power, footwork,and stamina- we can add: "hug". Maybe even a compubox stat for hugs, it can equate to dominance.

But of course it's under the skill of ring generalship. They will also add how much distance you have covered in the ring by placing a pedometer in your fighting shoes, this shows territorial dominance. The more area covered, coupled with hugging quantity will show overall dominance.
