You're implying that my position on changing rules that are completely subjective to the ruling of the individual referee and regularly differ from fight to fight leaving a sense of uncertainty and confusion - are fueled by my bias against Floyd? :nono

Could it be that you're favoritism of him and you're propensity to defend him against people who you perceive to be "haters" of his has contaminated you're ability to have an unbiased perspective on the sport as a whole?

How is it that the current system in which clinching - from fight to fight - is ruled differently in terms of point deductions, makes for a sound and fair way of reffing and scoring fights?

Furthermore, I generally am only in favor of making changes that I think will improve the sport. I'm certainly not nostalgically inclined enough to hold on to structures and ideas in favor of making beneficial changes that will rise the quality of the sport.

How are people defending it by saying it's always been part of the sport. So what, so has low blows, head butts, hitting after the bell, rabid punches.. Are we gonna start condoning that **** too. Vlad, Floyd and the rest of these guys committing a foul should be penalized for it.

What about the ducking below the waste illegal **** he pulls every time he doesn't grapple.. Rules need to be enforced enforced. I don't get how people stick so adamant against low blows, and head butts yet call someone a master boxer for holding and ducking there head down to there knees? Confusing

There weren't that many clinches in that fight. Maybe 15. There are fights with over 100

Power hug is an underrated skill kind of the same way that low blow and rabbit punching are.

Castillo, a Mexican tapped his ass, in their first fight.

Maidana, an Argentinian, tapped his ass in their first fight.

    Deal with it.

Ruiz and Mayweather wouldn't know how to untangle themselves.
