Wasn't his that KO caused by his asthma?

 

Uh there were like 6x they clashed heads and at least 3 low blows exchanged between holyfield and ruiz. Im sure that built up damage contributed to ruiz's knockdown.

To be fair, they both were fighting very rough and dirty.

As for the punch that did it, ruiz labded an excellent right cross right on the temple when holyfield didnt see it coming (they were clinching and it came from his blind spot). A shot like that could drop nearly anyone.

 

Clashing heads can make people woozy but I didn’t see either guy was hurt from it here. In the previous round, Ruiz had flopped to the floor after Holyfield hit him with a borderline shot, doing his usual acting. Then Ruiz retaliated with a blatant low blow. Holyfield got dropped the next round with that right hand and was badly hurt, keeping in theme with the original topic and how boxing is unpredictable.
