PPV in america is a measure of how popular boxer is in america and even more about how good a promotion team he has behind him in america. It has nothing to do with actual greatness and skills of the boxer. They are defined by his performances and ability against his opponents.

You Bumlovstans were all on about how the Triple Duck was going to do 500K PPV buys before the fight. Now, all of a sudden, PPV buy raters don't matter?

    LOL...

You idiots really ought to STOP..

PPV NEVER mattered to anyone but casual american internet geeks who have never been in the ring themselves. PPV is irrelevant and has nothing to do with boxers greatness as a boxer. Justin Bieber might sell a lot of records, but Luciano Pavarotti is still superior singer compared to him. You idiots raving about PPV numbers really ought to STOP your rant in a boxing forum and go whine somewhere else.

The real world gives a damn. Apparently a lot of people (numbers) aren't lying about who they want to watch.

Numbers don't lie. No matter how hard a few die hards want them to.

I thought that Floyd looked good against Berto, but we heard more about how Floyd's ppv was a big flop then how Floyd made Berto miss. Why? You see my point? And many said that they knew it would flop. 150,000 is a successful ppv and yet 500,000-550,000 is a flop.
