Why not just wish Floyd grow some balls. It would be easier and boxing fans will be happy.

Floyd have too many mics in his face. If he would always say its because of Arum. Haters would not have anything to ***** about. This way Each new excuse is a new headline. New headline = more bitching. More bitching = more sales. Keep on hating

We never know. All we can assume is that he'd fight him, being that everything else was agreed to.

And he has said that multiple times... Some boxing fans understood this back in 2009. Some, like you, still don't get that years later.

He hasn't fought a Bob Arum promoted opponent since they split in 2007. (Judah) Just saying.

By the ******ed logic on here by some people, we should just claim Floyd is ducking "Top Rank" because he'll lose to any Top Rank fighter. It's not like Mayweather is trying to land fights with other Top Rank fighters, so therefore, Floyd must be scared of all of them!

    look

even if Pac left his current management, Floyd will just find another reason not to fight him

this is just his latest deterrent from having the fight

all this talk about how easy he would be to beat, and hes not on my level and blah blah blah. . . if thats the case, Floyd could easily make the fight happen if he wanted too, and it would make him a **** load of money. . . but as always, he wont unless he is certain that pac shows up in the ring in a wheelchair with his arms duck taped behind his back

. . . the way of the coward

Package fans and Floyd fans have been making these same exact threads for 4 years....four ****ing years!!! Mayweather, Arum and Pac are all to name for the duck, no one us exempt...All three have come up with some of the dumbest excuses not to fight...why defend either side..It's ridiculous...

It's been time to move on...everyone should be at the point to where if they fight kool if not **** it...

Cotto got the fight when he left Top Rank. Past history would indicate Pacquiao would have a much better shot of landing the fight.

Cotto also mentioned Bob Arum never discussed the possibility of a Mayweather fight with him. Despite what Bob Arum was saying in the media about Mayweather ducking Cotto.

or floyd could just stop being a ***** and agree to fight him

first he expects Pac to take extra testing that is not required by the commission. "Take the test and the fight will happen"

    (pac finally agrees to testing)

then he claims his health comes first

    (goes on vacation)

now its floyd refusing to negotiate

    (booo Arum)

im sure he has 40 more excuses written down in his secret little note pad.

its clear as day to me why this fight hasnt happened yet

Cotto got the fight as soon as he left Top Rank. Cotto also said Arum was full of **** basically as well with the whole "Mayweather fight was never discussed once." You can't spin that, sorry. History has proven that once a fighter breaks from Top Rank/Bob Arum, they have a chance of landing the fight. That is not speculation, that is going on past events.

Also, if you want to get into "reality," it was Pacquiao and Top Rank who walked away from negotiation in late 2009 to early 2010, not GBP and Mayweather. Remember signing to fight Clottey and leaving Mayweather with no opponent? Pretty obvious both sides have their share of blame.

Floyd is to blame for being petty, and allowing a personal beef to get in the way of a fight fans want to see. None of us care about his reasons, we just want to see the fight.
Bob Arum is to blame because he's Bob Arum and a total scumbag.
Manny is to blame for being such a puppet.
