Sky in the Uk are no longer doing PPV, all the fights will be included in their standard package for Sports from now on. And people thought David Haye V Harrison and Klitschko was a bad thing lol

Careful with those comments guys. Might want to edit.

I missed the 2nd last round of tipping. Banned for 2 weeks for seeming as though I was asking for a link to the Green fight, which I wasn't of course :p When I said 'anyone know where to watch?" I meant at a pub or something... yahuh :p

Read that the other day , probably has a lot to do with terrestrial television Channel 5 starting to put boxing up for free during peak hour viewing ( Chisora v Fury recently was free) . this can only encourage the casual fan and kids to look further into the sport of boxing .

That is the best news I've heard in a long time, if that's the case. Wonder if it'll happen here.

Doubt anything like this happens here.
If there is no PPV here there wont be hardly any boxing telecasts at all.

My sarcasm probably wasn't very obvious, granted. :D

I've gotten to the point that I pay for VERY little these days. I've probably bought 3 ppv's in 3 years or more, so less telecasts doesn't bother me personally but it would hurt the sport. Conversely having big fights live on Fox Sports would increase interest ten fold.

Haha all good. I have said numerous times if Fox sports could show the lesser and mid range Showtime and Hbo cards live or on a same day tape delay then for the super fights the ppvs would sell alot better and create much more interest in the sport as a whole.

Coverage in this country of boxing is a joke. We get charged 40 dollars on main event ppv for 1960s level production. Hence why i barely order a ppv these days instead using other means. Its only going to get worse in my opinion. Fox/main event are at a crossroads with boxing. Its always nice to see fuel tv putting on live small ufc cards from the usa. I doubt i will see a day when fox sports are doing the same with boxing

I often wonder, why is it we dont get AUS PPV fights in HD yet most of the american broadcasters are in HD. Was the shows they did with One HD even HD?

I haven't read all the posts here but for my 2 bobs worth..if fight cards were packaged right..with good match up's...rivalries and rematches...elimination bouts...i'd have no trouble payin' something...I reckon they could do it the same way as you pay for box office...even if they charge 20-25 dollars...I don't think they could charge much more especially if there was a couple of shows a month...but if it helped getting our top fighters to fight each other or to fly in better opponents it'd be worth it..
