OK, the first fight between vargas and demarco was pretty good...no problem there. but then they showed two fights featuring unknown thai fighters. wtf. i could have done without both of them...i have no idea who onesongchaigym is. so, i don't know if to be impressed or unimpressed by lomachenko. same with the other thai fighter. don't get me wrong...i love the thai people. never met a nicer bunch of folks. but, generally speaking, their fighters suck. they all fight the same. wild, arching punches, little technique, little defense and a strong chin. not exactly world class material. i would have preferred to from the vargas-demarco fight straight into the pacman-algieri instead of having to sit through a couple of 12 rounders that even ESPN FNF would have rejected.
Demarco vs vargas should of been the card prior to pac vs Chris. Agreed not ppv worthy but arum didn't have stiff competition as there were no real good ppvs this year .
I read only read the round by round. I have never seen such racism in me life!! Everyone was saying the fellow who fought Shiming looked exactly like Pacquiao and they couldnt tell the difference ( because they are both Asian). I had to endure from the first time they shown him in the locker room through 12 rounds of boxing of deeply racist jokes to be honest.
It was a solid undercard.....the Main Event wasn't PPV worthy but it's PAC. When it's Manny or Floyd it doens't matter who the opponent is....it will be PPV. As fans we just hope the under card is beefed up so we get some of our monies worth. The Floyd vs Marcos rematch was bullsh*t from top to bottom and then to add insult to injury they jacked up the price of the PPV. That was a travesty!
Ive seen one post. he thought shimimng was algieri. algieri wasnt allowed to enter china due to some chinese law so the replaced pacquiao's opponent wit a local chinese dude. and that pacquiao was a made-in-china replica too
