PPV is killing boxing

    It definatly is, its being greedy and its losing future fans. Already in the UK there is virtually no boxing on any free to air station, not everybody has sky sports.

    Its clearly making enough money at the moment to satisfy the big wigs at the top who just want to rake it in but how many future fans, the next generation of spenders are not seeing these fights and not getting into the sport.

    My family were boxing fans and i was brought up watching lots of boxing on tv and videos and going to local events and im still a fan now, and not many of my mates like boxing, but the ones that do didnt come from familys that loved the sport, infact some were discouraged from showing too much interest, and it was catching a classic fight or a real tear up on the TV that did it for them.

    If these great fights, tear ups and masterclasses of skills are not on the tv to be seen then the next generation of fans will be alot smaller.
