    Charlize Theron:South Africa Jet li:Asia, Jackie Chan:Asia and has a hit movie in theaters right now, Steve Nash:Canada and the list goes on and on for people of other countries who you have to pay per view in movies or at sports arena's.Bruce lee is technically American but the real point here is that WE launched him as well as Tiger and Kimora.

    The good ol' U.S of A. lays claim to all of the biggest stars who are Asian.Particularly the biggest of the biggest and Manny is no exception,he was a nobody before the U.S. pumped him up.So no one in their right mind can say that Floyd is a bigger pay per view draw than Manny because he is American.The U.S. has always loved Asian people.Floyd is a bigger pay per view draw because he is a bigger pay per view draw and not because he is American!There are no excuses!

    There is no excuse for Manny being outperformed in ppv.Yet all you hear is how he does well to not be American.Tell that to Jackie Chan who is raking in millions at the box office as we speak.America doesn't hate on Asian people so we cannot claim Floyd outperforms Manny at the box office simply because Floyd is American.It's just not true.

    You can't compare films and sports events such as boxing. There is more nationalistic pride involved in boxing than film. You don't hear the Chinese national anthem getting played at every showing of Jackie Chan films, do you?

    Being second to Floyd Mayweather is no disagrace. Mayweather is the greatest PPV attraction of all time. He comfortably drew more than Oscar De La Hoya against common opponents.

    Mayweather vs Gatti - 365k PPVs
    DLH vs Gatti - 0 PPVs

    Mayweather vs Mosley - 1.4 million
    DLH vs Mosley - 770k (average from two fights)

    Proof that Mayweather was the main draw in the Mayweather vs DLH fight, and the reason that Floyd got a 110/-10 split in his favour against Oscar.

    I read an interview with Kevin Kelley the other day and he was talking about how African Americans don't follow the sport like they did in the 80's, so Mayweather came up with the villain role thinking if they won't watch for his skill level then they will watch to see if he will get knocked out.

    It was on the site that hypes fights.
