If the numbers are bad, it's cause noone wants to see this fight. If they're good, it's cause people want to see Pacquiao fight no matter who he is up against. If they are bad, it means Pac needs a minimally credible opponent to do good numbers (Mosley is not)

I can't think of anyone ever who did great numbers in a fight noone wants. I mean noone wanted Pac vs Margo, but not as much as this.

pac obviously brings in big numbers

but i think cbs will boost the numbers even more due to their big network of customers
(HBO wishes they had the same amount of subscribers as CBS

CBS will market the brand (Pac), at the end of the day the brand is being marketed to a bigger audience but the brand still has to be sellable. Therefore its down to Pac.

That would be like saying Floyd/Pac does bigger numbers than Berto because they get better marketing...they get better marketing because their a better brand.

That's what I want. I'm a Pac fan and if the numbers are not good, I won't even blame Mosley and Arum.

You're a Pac fan, so that's your standpoint. I made this thread early so that we can bump this after the fight. I can already see some haters discrediting Pac. They will say the numbers are good, not because of Pac but because of better marketing.
