At least with the wrestling you have the option of streaming them for a much lower monthly price.

I do feel that the likes of DeGale headlining a PPV would do terrible numbers unless it was against a domestic rival.

At least the US cards are all on Sky Sports even if they involve a British fighter.

I am too intelligent, not tight, to part with money for what is simply a basic fight based on a 'grudge' generated by a pre determined acting script lasting less than 3 minutes.

Where was this decent show on Sat?

The only highlight was the injured Haye hobbling about the ring with Bellew failing to nail him for a few rounds due to a lack of skills and stamina.

Mugs and their money easily parted.

I enjoyed it. If you didn't pay for it so what? Not for you. I didn't go to the cinema to see a film i didn't fancy but i don't go on about it!!

You must also buy the Wresting PPVs mate if you though that was a decent show.

Just watched it in a bar mate and apart from the injury, the consensus in the bar was that it was a pile of tripe. Incredibly people on here have it down as a great card with a great headline fight.

    Absolute nonsense.

Why are you bothered that other people said they liked it?

Sound like a control freak. If other people like something and you don't, this doesn't affect your life in anyway. Why would it get to you?

Let people do as they wish.

On a side note, unless you was drinking tap water, you spent more than me watching the fight as I had 6 mates round, £2.50 each.

It was a poor undercard for sure- I wish the undercards for these PPV featured decent British Title 50/50s than McDonnell/Selby keep busy fights.

But surely the amount of buys means it was PPV material?

The numbers are never released but it seems to be approximately 700k.

I'm literally speaking to people in the gym, females as well, they have no interest in boxing what so ever, but they all watched the fight Saturday. Crazy really.

What makes something PPV material is what sells, Id love to see a mega fight like Usyk vs Breidis, both world class / elite fighters (in my opinion) but how many PPVs would it do? Very very few.

End of the day pal if some people want to spend a very small amount of cash on 3 hours of entertainment I honestly can't understand why that would frustrate you.

What annoys me is that the unsuspecting public mugs are being taken for a ride and cannot see it.

They fall for the rehearsed acting and cannot help themselves.

Very sad really and cants like Haye earn an easy £4m although the injury at least made the cant earn his money.

Tbf jurgen. Boxers know what sells. Its down to them to get in that ppv bracket. Haye for examples a big punching heavyweight who can talk and sell a fight. Hatton was all out aggresion. Joshua big punching heavyweight.

Usually the ppv stars have something that stands out. Its not like hayes getting preferential treatment over others for no reason. If your entertaing in and out of the ring you can get yourself in that bracket. Boxers should be looking at entertaining in the ring when there planning out their careers/training etc. Otherwise dont complain when your not ppv. Haye was pretty much entertainment from the start. Barring klitchko and probably harrison.

What a sad and bitter man you sound.

So you are telling me if you were in charge of the promotion you would have it on standard sky, despite knowing that you could have 700,000+ subscribers buying it at £17.99???

    Seriously GTFOH.

Either Jurgan is a troll or he's on the spectrum and just doesn't get it. Not sure what one it is.
