First fight apparently did 325,000 PPV buys. Second fight did 1.2 million PPV buys. How much does the third fight do?

I personally think it really depends on the press conferences, face off's and how well the two sell the fight

To be quite frank, I will believe it when I see it actually happen. Pure speculation is really not good enough my friend. It is like waking up to find $ 1 million dollars under my pillow because I made a wish to the tooth fairy. Tyson Fury is all bark, no bite my friend. Remember the fable, The Boy Who Cried Wolf.

Tyson Fury needs to be renamed The Drama King, not The Gypsy King.

It'll do more than the first fight, but less than the rematch.

    I'm thinking around 750-800 buys.

You have to take into account that beyond boxing, the economy was stronger in Feb. 2020 - right before the pandemic started - than it is now.

Wait, why? Why on Earth would Fury to be scared to fight a man he's thrashed twice?

    Make it make sense.

I base this on the fact that he talks about fighting against Wilder again, it is all drama, will he or will he not. Drama is for the silver screen. Fighters should fight, not just talk about it, or else Fury should fight Anthony Joshua for Pete's sake.

Do you live on planet earth?

As for the PPV numbers, I expect mid way between the first and second fights. A lot of fans I talk to are not interested in a 3rd fight when Wilder already lost twice. It will be the first HW title bout PPV in 20 years that I wont be purchasing

Since there are no consequences for making up a PPV sales figure it will be at least as high as the first fight if they want to be show realistic growth, higher than the second fight if they are hyping another installment or more Fury fights in the US, or very low if they're ducking the IRS and creditors.

Do you live on planet earth? Truthfully I am not interested in a third Fury vs Wilder fight. Fury needs to fight Anthony Joshua. Deontay Wilder should be matched against another top contender, the winner fights the victor of Fury vs Joshua.

There hasn't been a heavyweight title fight in the U.S. in a year and a half.

These two are the most well known heavyweights in the world and most certainly in the U.S.

The controversies around fight 2 are still being debated now on social media.

This fight has had nearly 18 months of hype.

ESPN and Fox will promote the hell out of it. It isn't competing with any other major events. Everyone knows the partcipants. Nobody has to do research to figure out who they are.

On that day, the sports world will be all about Wilder-Fury.

The third fight will be huge. Tyson may earn close to his 75 large after all.

I say it closes in on 2 million buys. Maybe 1.8 million in the US. International sales will lift it above that.

Biggest fight in boxing this year.

Hmm there is always the possibility that Fury does what Wilder did for the last year or so and does no media appearances. Keeps his head down and turns up in fight week.

Fury was the guy that said he wouldn't fight Wilder again after the public slander and said he wouldn't be dictated to when it came to fighting Whyte. It won't surprise me if he cuts his nose off to spite his face on this one and leaves Wilder to carry the build up

Maybe not at the sheik's house. Certainly is in the US. That's really what matters most. Since we buy the bulk of these PPVs and spend three times what the UK does. No sheik required. Everyone knows these two. Sell away.

Yet AJ is far richer than any active US boxer?
