Strongback give it a rest they aren't 'alts', check their profile if you can be ars ed doing something to find out facts rather than just judge from a distance. Problem we have is what we see as a mediocre/decent card is being lapped up by some-no wonder PPVs like this happen when Eddie gets these responses
For me a PPV card should be about quality not quantity. He can put as many of his stable out as he wants but if none are in even remotely competitive fights it certainly exposes the cards weakness.
Using social media etc like Eddie is to hype up cards that aren't worthy is something that has a short shelf life. If this PPV throws up poor walk over fights including Froch blasting out Groves the casual sports fan won't be as eager to put their hand in their pocket to pull out £15 the next time. Hearn can only sell a dummy so many times. Eddie sold himself as God almighty when he came on the scene and 'more like your best mate than a boxing promoter' so why shouldn't he be questioned when he is party to fighters losing their titles or when he puts on a duff PPV. On the Twitter thing I don't do social media as I believe the content is garbage. It's a bigger idiot box than TV.
He should be questioned and he should be criticised heavily for this ppv in my eyes. Still, you say people will start to refuse-things are soon forgotten, see Haye v Audley for example
Booth/ Haye wrote the blueprint on how to sell guff fights using social media. Eddie is now copying that blueprint. I honestly hope Eddie doesn't deliver as little as Haye/Booth have over the years. All that Haye PPV and not one decent fight unless you want to count the Chisora effort. Still, the public weren't paying for another Haye PPV after the Wlad farce and Haye would have been fighting on Sky 1 if he hadn't been able to piggyback on the public recognition Tyson Fury has.
I still cant believe people bought into the Haye /Audley thing. Also find it hard to understand how they say it took him 3 rounds to beat Audley when he clearly said his family had money on it-he knew, like we did, as soon as he threw a punch, it was over lol
