    It was a heck of a fight with a terrable ending, hu,,, kind of the exact opposite of the Toney-Hasim fight.:think

    ............I turned it on after it happened, as they were giving a final update before signing off. Glad I didn't see it. I've seen enough of those.

    The right punch or getting hit in the right spot could do it. Or any previous very small bleed that went unseen. Or a birth defect. What can I say? There could be 1,000 reasons. Some people take punches all their lifes and nothing happens. Others fall from a chair and bleed. I really hope I am wrong. I am praying to be wrong. Its just what it looks like thru the TV

    No, he was taking some hard shots and had been wobbled a few times. His right eye was swolen shut by the 7th and things were just getting worse.
    He was still fighting like hell though.

    Diaz is a good guy and a credit to boxing!.....I do hope he's going to be ok.

    Teddy Atlas mentioned that in his last few fights he has taken an unbelievable amount of punishment. He could have had a problem sustained then and not recognized prior to this fight.

    Tons of reason why that could happen. but the point is, i hope hes gonna be ok. Sending my boxing healing waves to you diaz!

    Same as me, and a lot of others I'm sure. Totally took me out of the whole mess surrounding that fight right quick though.

    its to bad ive watched him alot for the last few yrs i hope he pulls thru its allways a shame when something like this happins just trying to entertain us

    I didn't see his fight with Golden Johnson, but Diaz may have carried over damage.
