****. I've never seen a live fight that led to a fighter's death (damn, that sounds horrible). I sincerely hope he's okay but I'm getting sick just thinking about it. Be strong Oscar.

Me too. I completely forgot about the Toney/Rahman fight but I didn't miss much. I saw the whole Diaz fight I really hope he will be okay.

For those that didn't see it, Diaz stood up to answer I believe the 10 round and yelled out in pain and collapsed into the ropes and was caught by a cornerman. Ultimately he was carried out on a stretcher.

I'll sit through this crap called ESPN sportscenter and SEE if they keep us boxing fans updated on his condition.

For now, they are yapping about Brett Favre and its not even football season. Oh for f*ck's sake...

He looked conscious but not moving very much after he collapsed; the medical staff brought in the oxygen tanks immediately after the fight was called off.

We don't know. He finished the round and went to his corner. He wasn't talking to his corner. The referee asked him if he was OK. He got up. He said something but it more like he groan. His legs wobbled and then he colapsed. Kind of twisted to one side for like two seconds before going flacid

he probably had a seizure in the ring.... i seen my friend had a seizure this year and it sounds similar to how you guys described it..

so he stood up- yelled- and kind of collapsed and was cought by his cornerman and laid down....

they had to have been making sure he was responsive though... hopefully he was

I really hope I am wrong. I hope was a pain in his side what caused him to groan like that. Anything in the body is easier than in the head. Like I said before, It's too hard to say by what I saw in TV. I hope they have some more info tomorrow morning

Was he taking a lot of damage? What happened during the last round?
